We don’t like that food is over … but we hate more that we lack it! Mexicans tend to prepare extra food because we never miss a visit that we like to pamper, or we think that what we cook today will be good for tomorrow (or at dinner).
Can you overcook? Yes of course! It is simply that you schedule that meal, either for dinner or for the next day’s meal, and never for an earlier time. This will prevent it from lingering in the refrigerator and flooding it with more tuppers with later meals.
